South Korean boyband JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong visits the Philippines for the first time in 11 years and kicks off his first ever fanmeeting in Manila at Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 30, 2017.
The day started early at 9AM local time as different fansites and clubs, including All About Cassiopeia as the only participating international fanclub, started distributing giveaways outside the fanmeeting venue. Fan project banners were also handed out to the attendees as well.
After the successful run of his The Rebirth of J concert tour and TV series Manhole, South Korean boyband JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong was set on to another journey with his fans through a series of fanmeetings across Asia.
While Hong Kong, Taipei, and Bangkok were usual stops in previous concerts and fanmeetings, Manila was (finally!) included in this tour. Here are 5 reasons why you should not miss Kim Jaejoong’s fanmeeting in Manila, Philippines:
The fan bases of TVXQ! in the Philippines grow strong despite the Korean boy band, comprising U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin, has not toured across the country yet. The Cassiopeia Philippines (CassPH) held their 11th gathering, 11G: Wasurenaide…Tsuzuku…, on June 7 at Marc 2000 Tower Penthouse in Manila.
The event started at 2:00PM and despite the hot sunny day, Filipino Cassies managed to look classy for the event. Before it officially started, attendees were given TVXQ!-themed chocolate treats from the registration booth. The fans were welcomed and introduced about the different traditions of the previous Cassiopeia Philippines’ gatherings. Games were carried out to bring everyone to get to know each other and make new friends. CassPH’s official goods were sold and a ‘buffet’ for pre-loved merchandise were available for sale.
As we all know, The Philippines is going through a very tough time. Hence, MY-TVXQ! TVXQ Fanclub in Malaysia came up with an idea to proudly show its support to them, as fans of TVXQ!. In conjunction with the upcoming 10th anniversary of TVXQ!, MY-TVXQ! is going to team up with All About Cassiopeia to launch a donation campaign for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. All donations collected will be directly channeled to UNICEF, which was also supported by our dear U-Know Yunho, in the name of TVXQ!.

Over the past week, Cassiopeia in Cebu, Philippines have gathered on June 15, 2013 for the late celebration of Park Yoochun’s birthday which was on last June 4, 2013. They organized a charity event under the name ‘6002 Day in Cebu 2013‘ for the children housed in Missionaries of Charity. Missionaries of Charity is a small orphanage which houses sick children who were either abandoned or were personally taken there by their parents in the orphanage.
There were also those who couldn’t make it to the event also sent some donations for the volunteers. There were donations from all over the Philippines and Cassiopeia in Cebu would like to organize similar events in the future.
