Photos from Kim Junsu’s yesterday’s year-end concert ‘2014 XIA Ballad & Musical Concert with Orchestra vol.3’ were released on JYJ’s official Facebook page today with the caption, “You’re surprised, right? Today will be more spectacular! Wait for me!”. The set of photos received strong response from fans for Junsu’s appearance in a red hood and playing handbells.

The highlight of yesterday’s concert was Junsu’s handbell performance. The idol sang ‘A Lover’s Concerto’ which was accompanied by the harp, guitar and piano, while Junsu played the handbells, and the concert hall was filled with screams from fans.

JYJ’s Junsu has captured the hearts of Japanese fans with his musical-concept concert.


On May 25, C-JeS Entertainment expressed that Junsu proved his high popularity through his sold out concert of the ‘2014 XIA THE BEST BALLAD SPRING TOUR CONCERT IN JAPAN’, with 33,000 seating on 13th to 15th May Tokyo Show and 30,000 on 22nd to 24th May Osaka Show.

In addition, the concert this time around, its stage has an even deeper meaning as musical numbers which Junsu played in, could be heard. The show ended with a great success, and regular musical viewers praised and complimented the show, “The standard of the stage was high.”

JYJ’s Junsu Reveals Japan’s Spring Concert Rehearsal

The rehearsal shots for the JYJ Junsu’s best ballad spring tour concert in Japan were revealed.


On May 16, two photos were posted on the JYJ Official Facebook with the caption, “A sudden reveal of concert rehearsal photos of Kim Junsu, who should be proud of his perfect unison with the orchestra.”

The revealed photos were shot during the rehearsal for ‘2014 XIA THE BEST BALLAD SPRING TOUR CONCERT IN JAPAN’ on May 13 till May 15 at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Gymnasium. Since the concert was 100% live, Kim Junsu showed an altitude of professionalism and fully focused even it was just a rehearsal. After all, it was said that Junsu practiced meticulously with the orchestra and the live band since it was the first performance in Japan with a musical and ballad concept.

His agency, C-JeS entertainment has revealed, “This concert was planned for Junsu to create a stage of forest and spring atmosphere. The Japanese fans were very touched by the 100% all live stages with their idol’s musical and ballad.”

On the other hand, Kim Junsu will meet fans through concert at Osaka’s Osaka-jō Hall from May 22 to the 24th.
