South Korean boyband JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong visits the Philippines for the first time in 11 years and kicks off his first ever fanmeeting in Manila at Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 30, 2017.
The day started early at 9AM local time as different fansites and clubs, including All About Cassiopeia as the only participating international fanclub, started distributing giveaways outside the fanmeeting venue. Fan project banners were also handed out to the attendees as well.
After the successful run of his The Rebirth of J concert tour and TV series Manhole, South Korean boyband JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong was set on to another journey with his fans through a series of fanmeetings across Asia.

South Korean boyband JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong has successfully completed the first leg of his new Asian fanmeeting tour.
His agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said yesterday, “Kim Jaejoong finishes his 2017 KIM JAE JOONG ASIA TOUR FANMEETING in SEOUL, which was held on September 29, 2017 at Kyung Hee University’s Grand Peace Palace. Kim prepared for four hours solely for the fans and unsparingly showed off his hidden charms that none of his fans even knew.”

Filmed on February 25 and 26, 2017, the live concert 3-disc DVD captures Kim performing for the tour’s encore shows in Saitama, Japan. The set list features fan favorites from Kim’s I mini album, and WWW and NO.X studio albums including “Mine”, “Just Another Girl” and “Love You More”. The live DVD also includes a total of five Japanese renditions of tracks from his albums which were sung live for the first time only during the Saitama encore concerts.

Kim led a 3-month Asian tour for the first time after his military discharge. His agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said on March 3, “Kim Jae Joong finished his big project of the 2017 KIM JAE JOONG ASIA TOUR ‘The REBIRTH of J’ after his discharge. Starting from Seoul in last January to Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya and Saitama in Japan, to Hong Kong, Thailand, Macao and Taiwan, over 130,000 fans were gathered in nine cities and proved the global popularity of Kim.”

Kim Jae Joong successfully ended his The Rebirth of J Asian tour in Kaohsiung last Saturday and it was his first time to host a concert there. The audience had a special time as they celebrated April Fools’ Day with their idol in Kaohsiung Arena.

K-Pop star Kim Jae Joong ends his Asian tour in Macao with great success.
The show in Macao was the eighth among nine cities in the The Rebirth of J concert tour. On March 24, 2017, fans went to Cotai Arena of The Venetian Macao to take commemorative photographs with Kim’s concert banners. The following day on the night of the concert, fans showed their anticipation to see their idols whom they had been waiting for so long by shouting “Kim Jaejoong!”

The recently discharged Kim now holds a brand new concert tour as an effort to promote his second studio album NO.X.
