South Korean boyband TVXQ! has renewed their contract with S.M. Entertainment and plans to make a comeback this March.
TVXQ! has finished renewing their contract with their agency, S.M. Entertainment, at the end of last year based on their strong mutual trust with each other. TVXQ! was with S.M. Entertainment since their debut in 2004.
Despite the existing contract had not ended, TVXQ! renewed their contracts quickly for a long-term activities after their respective military discharge and for future plans. This proves their deep trust, affection and perfect partnership with S.M. Entertainment.
With this contract renewal, TVXQ! can engage in activities in South Korea and abroad with the full support and investment from S.M. Entertainment in stable and long-term plans. It is expected that the duo would harvest even greater achievements as a team that represents K-Pop. This could also be a typical example where artists and management companies synergize in perfect partnership.
TVXQ! made their debut in 2004 and led the K-Pop wave in and out of South Korea. As soon as the members were discharged from the military, they released a ‘Best Of’ album FINE COLLECTION ~Begin Again~ and topped the Oricon Weekly Chart in Japan. This was their sixth time to rank 1st place and broke another record as the most international male artist to make it 1st place in the Weekly Charts.
Since last year November, the duo hosted the five-dome tour in Japan with great success. TVXQ! will perform on stage for an additional grand finale concert in Nissan Stadium in Japan for three days this upcoming June, dubbed the ‘東方神起 LIVE TOUR ～Begin Again～ Special Edition in NISSAN STADIUM’. Over one million audience will be expected to attend in this single concert, which will be the biggest among all tours by TVXQ!.
TVXQ! is reported to be preparing for a new comeback album with the aim for a March release.
