TVXQ! Gathers 1,000 Fans In First Asian Press Tour in Hong Kong

South Korean boyband TVXQ! completes their first Asian press tour after two years of hiatus.

TVXQ! ended their Hong Kong press conference with a great success and made a full stop on ‘TVXQ! ASIA PRESS TOUR’ that announced their restart of activities after two years of hiatus.

On August 22, 2017, TVXQ! held their last press conference in Plaza Hollywood Shopping Center in Hong Kong after finishing the first conference in The Shilla Seoul Hotel and Roppongi Hills, Tokyo, both on a day earlier. The duo revealed their feelings about their comeback and the plans for future activities, and caught the attention of 1,000 local fans and press teams at the scene in Hong Kong.

In that day’s conference, TVXQ! announced that they are going to host a special concert ‘TVXQ! Special Comeback Live ‘YouR PresenT” where they will unite with their fans in Seoul from September 30 to October 1, 2017 and in Macau on October 15, 2017. Besides, band members U-Know Yunho will be releasing a solo track “Drop” on September 25, 2017 and Max Changmin’s solo on September 29, 2017.

It has been four years and seven months since TVXQ! last visited Hong Kong back in 2013. There were press teams from over 100 media companies including Hong Kong TVB, DongBang Daily, Apple Daily and Xingdao Daily along with mainland China’s media companies such as Baidu, Sina, Phoenix Television, NetEast and more. The competition between these press companies showed high regards to the return of TVXQ!.

The Hong Kong International Airport had over hundreds of fans who came to welcome TVXQ! even before their arrival and crowded the arrival hall.

On top of this, the 1,000 fans who came to see TVXQ! in Plaza Hollywood applauded when TVXQ! said “I missed you” and “I love you” in Cantonese. They screamed members’ names while raising placards written ‘Now we start to the eternity again’ in Korean and this proved the influence of TVXQ! as the leading K-Pop group in Asia.
