Kim’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, revealed, “Kim Jaejoong, who had just finished his military service on December 30, 2016, has decided to hold a concert tour. He is scheduled to kick off the 2017 KIM JAE JOONG ASIA TOUR in SEOUL ‘The REBIRTH of J’ concert on January 21 and 22, 2017 at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium. He will progress the tour in February in Japan.

Kim made this decision as he considered his gratitude to fans who had waited for him while he was in the military. Back in February 2016, Kim released his second studio album NO.X with tracks that were recorded before his enlistment. He also held hologram concerts in Tokyo and Seoul with live version of songs from the same album. NO.X sold nearly 100,000 copies despite the absence of the artist himself and gathered 15,000 fans in Tokyo to see his presence through a hologram.

Besides, fans from around the world and the press were present on scene when Kim was discharged from the military, proving his popularity. It is expected that the upcoming concert tour will continue to receive explosive response.

Kim will hold a fan signing event at COEX Live Plaza on December 31, 2016 at 7.00pm. Tickets for 2017 KIM JAE JOONG ASIA TOUR in SEOUL ‘The REBIRTH of J’ opens on January 2, 2017 starting from 8.00pm local time on MelOn Ticket.
