South Korean boyband JYJ’s Kim Junsu (XIA) has confirmed to make a return this fall.
His agency C-JeS Entertainment said yesterday, “XIA Junsu has confirmed his solo album release in October next month. He has received so much love from local and foreign fans by releasing three studio albums and digesting songs of various genres with his own color. An Asian tour is already planned after the release of this album.”
They added, “After seven months since Flower, the album this time around will compose ballads and dance music that will show off XIA’s unique vocals and will suit well with the fall and winter.”
XIA had recorded over 120,000 albums sales in total with his first Tarantallegra album in 2012 and successfully completed a world tour for the first time as a Korean male artist. He toured seven cities across Asia and met more than 100,000 fans in the following year to promote his second album Incredible.
Flower which was released earlier this March has received tremendous popularity and became the hottest topic of the month. The album was made into many music charts in Korea and overseas, and XIA made his first appearance on a local music broadcast after six years.
A spokesperson said, “It is expected that music producers and audience will anticipate the new album after this announcement. XIA seeks his own musical styles and often tries a new concept and transformation in every album.”
Meanwhile, XIA is busy preparing his new album and Asian tour.
