The fan bases of TVXQ! in the Philippines grow strong despite the Korean boy band, comprising U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin, has not toured across the country yet. The Cassiopeia Philippines (CassPH) held their 11th gathering, 11G: Wasurenaide…Tsuzuku…, on June 7 at Marc 2000 Tower Penthouse in Manila.
The event started at 2:00PM and despite the hot sunny day, Filipino Cassies managed to look classy for the event. Before it officially started, attendees were given TVXQ!-themed chocolate treats from the registration booth. The fans were welcomed and introduced about the different traditions of the previous Cassiopeia Philippines’ gatherings. Games were carried out to bring everyone to get to know each other and make new friends. CassPH’s official goods were sold and a ‘buffet’ for pre-loved merchandise were available for sale.
The dance cover performances were the highlights of the day. Cover group Code Red performed TVXQ!’s hit songs including Spellbound and “O”-正.反.合., which had everyone screaming at the top of their lungs.
The TohoCafe was also a big hit with everyone especially their casscrinkles with DongBang Babies and their DongBang Chibi cookies served with coffee in special DongBang cups. Everyone enjoyed hanging out at the TohoCafe while tuning in to a mashup from TVXQ! and JYJ’s various concerts and performances. Awesome prizes were also given away to lucky fans through a raffle.
A special birthday celebration for Park Yoochun also graced the event. Fans took part in the celebration to sing a birthday song and blew the candles together. The rest of the night was filled with fun, friends and laughter. The dance floor was dominated by Code Red who performed more songs and got everyone hyped up for the TohoNight especially when Somebody to Love was played.
Cassiopeia Philippines is the premiere Philippine fan club of both TVXQ! and JYJ since 2006. Special thanks to Cassiopeia Philippines for allowing us to cover this event!
