TVXQ!’s New Japanese Song Achieves Second Place On 1st Day of Sales

TVXQ!’s new song which was released in Japan has achieved the second spot on the Oricon charts.


According to Japan’s largest music chart, Oricon, TVXQ!’s 40th single entitled Hide & Seek/Something has achieved sales up to 74,000 copies and recorded number two on the charts on the 1st day of sales.

On the same day, Japanese idol group Hey! Say! JUMP’s latest single has sold 102,591 copies which makes it first on the singles chart.

Hide and Seek, the title song of ‘Hide & Seek/Something’, has a strong rock sound and it is also known as a local Japan medical drama’s theme song and gathered much expectations even before the release.

This single also includes the Japanese version of Something, which was released previously in TVXQ!’s 7th Korean album ‘TENSE’.

On the other hand, TVXQ! will release their new Japanese album, ‘TREE’ on March 5.
