‘Code Name: Jackal’ Is Set To Hit Malaysian Shores On April 11

Code Name: Jackal, or otherwise known as Jackal Is Coming, will be hitting the shores of Malaysia next April 11, after a long 5-month wait since the news of this film being sold to six Asian countries broke out. Lotte Entertainment, being the film’s distributor, revealed that it had already been sold to Japan, Thailand, Malaysia , Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei on last year’s November 8.

Directed by Bae Hyoung-Jun, this South-Korean comedy film that features JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong and Song Ji-Hyo was reported to be released in one of the local theaters, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) through its Coming Soon page on the official website.

Code Name: Jackal once ranked fourth on the box office soon after its release in Korea. The film unravels a story of a legendary killer (Song Ji-Hyo) who is assigned to kill the top celebrity in the country (Kim Jae Joong) while eventually leaving an odd mix of emotions between the two as the plot thickens.

Code Name: Jackal will be shown exclusively in Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) MidValley Megamall, One-Utama and Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur on April 11, 2013 as well as on other dates on selected international screens only.

Although Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) may be the only possible local theater that will be screening this film, there are no news reported on other theaters in the meantime.
